An Atlanta attorney is now leading a national association made up of more than 11,000 immigration lawyers.
The American Immigration Lawyers Association inducted Charles Kuck of Atlanta-based law firm Kuck, Casablanca & Odom LLC as its president at its annual meeting in Vancouver, Canada, on June 26.
Mr. Kuck, an outspoken advocate of immigration reform, outlined goals for his one-year term in a speech at the conference. He exhorted attorneys present to fight for the rights of disenfranchised immigrants and continue to work toward national immigration reform.
He also called for a pro-bono campaign to help military service members and their families.
Kuck, Casablanca & Odom has offices in Atlanta, Dalton and Gainesville in Georgia and in Miami, Orlando and Pembroke Pines in Florida.
